How a battle works here

What the AI rap battle generator does

A rap battle needs two voices. This page opens the generator on the AI rap sound with Both rap on, so the performers trade bars instead of one rapping while the other hypes. The AI writes the lines about the matchup you type, as one original verse over one beat.

The battle is a video, not a text thread. Your two photos become two rappers at one mic on the stage you pick, and whoever raps is lip-synced. It lasts as long as the video, 12 seconds by default.

Keep the fight about the topic. Sexual or hateful topics are refused before any credits are spent, and the verses stay clean.

Three steps

How to start a rap battle

  1. Illustration: two separate portrait photos, a hanging microphone.
    01

    Add both opponents

One photo each, or one photo of both. The photos do not need to be taken together.

  2. Illustration: conversation bubbles, pizza slices, a coffee cup.
    02

    Write the matchup

One line, up to 120 characters: “early birds vs night owls” or “pineapple on pizza, yes or no”.

  3. Illustration: a two-voice switch, a video preview with a play button.

Keep Both rap on and create

Both rap makes the two trade bars. A 12 second battle is 10 credits in the Hotel Lobby booth.

AI rap battle topic ideas

  • Early birds vs night owls
  • Pineapple on pizza: for and against
  • Older sibling vs younger sibling: who was the favorite
  • Console vs PC
  • Beach vacation vs mountain cabin
  • Dad jokes vs Mom’s one-word texts
  • Who really carries the rec league team

Matchups beat insults. Two clear sides give both rappers something to defend.

Why a video battle beats a text battle

  • People share faces, not paragraphs. A clip of two friends at the mic gets watched in the group chat.
  • Both sides are heard. With Both rap, each person gets lines, so nobody is only the punchline.
  • It fits the feed. 9:16 is preset for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, and 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 or 3:4 all cost the same.

Questions

Rap battle FAQ

Still stuck? Contact us or see pricing.

How does an AI rap battle work?

You add two photos and one battle topic, keep the AI rap sound and Both rap on. The AI writes original, clean bars and a beat, and the two people swap them on camera, lip-synced.

Can I make a rap battle video for free?

No. A 12 second battle costs 10 credits on any stage. Every video is paid with credits when you create it; the smallest pack is 10 credits for $9.99, and a failed render is refunded automatically.

Can I use Both rap with my own song?

No. Both rap only works with the AI rap sound on a Seedance model. With your own song, the lead lip-syncs and the partner hypes.

Can the battle be longer?

The Hotel Lobby booth offers 5, 8, 10, 12 or 15 seconds. The other stages offer 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30, where 20 or 30 need Seedance 2.5.

Can I battle a celebrity?

No. Use only photos of people who agreed to be in the video. Strangers and public figures are not allowed.

Will the bars be offensive?

No. The AI writes clean verses, sexual or hateful topics are refused before anything is charged, and Seedance renders pass the provider’s NSFW checker.
